Eligible Populations:
- Income-eligible people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Income-eligible parents or legal guardians of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Income-eligible employees of OPWDD’s workforce (includes direct support professionals, direct support assistant trainees, developmental assistants, secure care treatment aides, and Licensed Practical Nurses).
- Other individuals on a case-by-case basis.
- Income-eligible employees of OPWDD’s voluntary providers agencies workforce.
Eligible To Participate In The Hud-approved Housing Counseling Program
- 1st Time Home Buyers* receiving/eligible for service in the NYS Office For People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) system.
- Family members of individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Members of OPWDD’s workforce.
- Individuals in mortgage delinquency/loan default/foreclosure
- Individuals in need of credit counseling/credit repair.
- Other individuals on a case-by-case basis.
- Income-eligible employees of OPWDD’s voluntary providers agencies workforce
